Josh Lipsky is the director of the Atlantic Council’s GeoEconomics Center. He previously served as a advisor at the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and Speechwriter to Christine Lagarde. He is a term-member at the Council on Foreign Relations and an Economic Diplomacy Fellow at Harvard University’s Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs.In these roles he has advised policymakers on a range of challenges to the global economy, including trade wars and the rise of digital currency.
